When your organisation starts using Thoosa, or when you join an organisation that is already using Thoosa, you will be invited to start using the system. You will receive an email similar to the one shown below:

 

  

Please click on the highlighted link in the email, which will open this form in your web browser: 



Click on Next. On the next screen, please read the terms and conditions for using Thoosa and tick the box labelled “I accept the terms and conditions.”

 

Click on Next. The Security Details form will open. Your Thoosa username will be displayed: this is an email address assigned by your Thoosa system administrator and you will need it whenever you access Thoosa. Please make a note of it.

 

Please choose a password, which must contain at least 8 characters. Retype the password you have chosen in the Confirm Password box. Please make a note of it. (You can change your password whenever you use Thoosa and reset it if you forget it).

 

Click on Next. You will see a screen similar to this:

 

 

  • Please check the information in the Details box and let your employer know if there are any errors.
  • You can upload a photo by clicking on the Profile Picture box.

 

Click on Next.

 

  • If your employer has not given you permission to enter your own accreditation details then you will see an Onboarding Complete message. Click Exit. Your administrator will check that your information is correct and might add further accreditations. Once they have done this, you will receive an email confirming that your On-Boarding has been completed.

 

The rest of this help page only applies if your employer has given you permission to enter your own accreditation details.


Entering your accreditation details 

  • You will see a screen similar to this:

 

 

  • The Existing Accreditations list might display accreditations entered by your employer if you have already given them details of your previous training and certifications.
  • If you wish to to enter your own accreditation details this is how to do so: 
    • Click on the plus (+) symbol as shown above.
    • The following form will open:

  • Click on the Competency box and select a competency from the list.
  • Select the Valid From date.
  • Optionally, upload a pdf or image of the certificate if you have one.
  • Optionally, add a justification or explanation for the accreditation. For example, you might say where you undertook the training.
  • Click Save and repeat the process for further accreditations.

 

(At any point you can exit Thoosa, by clicking on the Exit button. You can log in again to upload further accreditations.)

 

When you have uploaded all accreditations, click the Complete button and then, if you are sure you have finished, click Confirm and Send and Exit Thoosa.

 

Your administrator will check that your information is correct and might add further accreditations. Once they have done this, you will receive an email confirming that your On-Boarding has been completed.
